The Secvest 2WAY wireless accessory module is an optional accessory for your Secvest. The wireless accessory module (WAM) can also be integrated in wired systems, such as the Terxon SX and Terxon MX, allowing other wireless components to be used in wired alarm systems. 6 main functions are available when the module is installed:

Repeater module: The WAM forwards signals from up to 8 sensors to the alarm panel. This virtually doubles the wireless transmission range.
Output module: Up to 4 outputs (switching capacity 500 mA) in the WAM are activated for programmed events.
Transmission/reception module: In addition to the 4 outputs, the alarm inputs on the WAM (one alarm zone and one tamper zone) are put to use.
Sounder module: The WAM allows an external, wired sounder to be connected to the Secvest wirelessly.
Siren transmitter/receiver: The WAM can be used to integrate a siren into a wired alarm system wirelessly.
Reception module: Using a WAM, 8 wireless components can be integrated into any wired system. The WAM receives the signals from the wireless detector and switches the outputs which activated the alarm zones for the alarm control panel. This allows the Secvest detectors to be integrated into the Terxon alarm control panel.

The WAM is powered by a 12 V power supply unit.
